Are the instruments tuned?
Yes. Every instrument in our collection is professionally tuned before it leaves our hands.
Our handpans and tongue drums are calibrated to precise frequencies —
whether 432Hz or 440Hz — so that the sound you receive is exactly the sound intended.
You will not need to tune them. Only to play them.
How do I care for my instrument?
These instruments are built to last — and they ask very little in return.
- Steel instruments (handpans, tongue drums): wipe with a dry or lightly oiled cloth after use. Keep away from humidity and direct sunlight.
- Copper & brass bowls: clean with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive materials. Store on their cushion when not in use.
- Crystal singing bowls: handle with both hands. Clean with a damp cloth. Store away from direct impact.
- Store all instruments in their bags or cases between sessions.
What frequency are the singing bowls tuned to?
Our crystal singing bowls are tuned to 432Hz —
a frequency that many healers, musicians and researchers consider to be
more aligned with the natural resonance of the human body and the earth itself.
Compared to the modern standard of 440Hz, 432Hz is often described as warmer, softer, and more centering.
It is the frequency of stillness.
Each bowl is also available in different musical notes (A, B, C, D, E, F, G),
allowing you to work with specific chakras or tonal intentions.
Can I use these instruments without prior experience?
Absolutely. That is one of the things we love most about these instruments.
You do not need to read music. You do not need training.
You only need to be present — and willing to listen.
Every instrument in our collection is chosen, in part, for its accessibility.
Touch a tongue. Strike a bowl. Rest your palm on a handpan.
The sound will guide you from there.
How do I choose the right instrument for me?
The right instrument is the one that already calls to you — trust that impulse.
If you need a gentle guide, here is one:
- For deep stillness and meditation — a crystal or Himalayan singing bowl.
- For active play and musical exploration — a tongue drum (6 or 13 inch).
- For immersive sound journeys — a 432Hz handpan.
- For ceremony and ritual — the hand-painted tongue drum or copper singing bowl.
- For daily Ayurvedic practice — the copper water bottle, as a grounding ritual.
